In the current mindset, that means short-term profit must trump long-term good, unless you can come up with some damn good reasons to convince your board that the two are functionally equivalent.We need corporate reform on a global level, to make long-term good something that corporations can actually work towards rather than against, and we need political reform that stifles both corporate influence on politics and overbroad government powers, so governments have no incentive to get involved in these kinds of shenanigans in the first place.

Hamsters have cheek pouches which they specifically use to carry food back to their nest. Hamster are pretty smart, give him time and he'll figure out he has to gnaw the pencil into smaller pieces in order to carry the pencil home.I do the same thing with my pet hamster I give her saltine crackers which are almost half as long as she is. She'll carry it around clumsily until she gnaws it down into smaller bits.!
