If you were to actually look at the statistics money has hardly any effect at all on how students perform (at least as measured by standardized tests). In my Scope and Methods class this week we looked at data for Ohio's public school and only about 2% of the increase in scores could be attributed to an increase in spending which is negligible and would result in a rejected hypothesis.On the other hand, if you analyze performance against the percentage of students on free lunch (and therefore poor, and therefore most likely in a single mother household, and therefore least likely to be learning outside of school) nearly 70% of the change could be attributed.The moral of the story is that the problem isn't our schools, it isn't the spending, and it isn't the curriculum: it's what's being sent to the schools.You can't teach someone that doesn't want to learn..

the Kevlar isn't exactly to prevent the cord from snapping, its to help keep the copper with in from being kinked or worn out or what ever happens to it. My head/ear phones always have to cord die first, i used to wrap my cords with electrical tape so that they wouldn't bend so much and they would last longer, now i get some Philups head phones that wrap behind your head, they have a fabric covering to the cord and a elastic strap at the top by the head phone so that if the cord gets pulled it doesn't yank your ear.

Also, you abuse the word bias pretty significantly. Obviously I take a view on the topic, and am making a point. Whether or not I have a view on the topic isn't consequential to the point I was making, which you completely failed to address.I'm amused at how people refuse to take a scientific view on abortion.
