“I wouldn't get too optimistic about this one. The Droid commercials are bashing the iPhone pretty hard. I think it's safe to say that all is not well between Apple and Verizon, as much as I would love for them to get along. I wouldn't be surprised if they are working with another carrier/radio technology for the iPad/iSlate that they are working on.

I don't know why anyone would spend $70 on an iPhone navigation app. There's a great app called MotionX GPS Drive that was $3, and does everything my Garmin does. The Droid does look nice though. Hopefully it'll end up being a serious challenge to the iPhone's market share.?
Oh well, Cracked articles can't all be winners I guess. Makes me wonder how this got so many diggs.

I also picked up a Droid today and here is my take: The key size doesn't bother me as much as the D-pad taking up so much room making me have to either hold it in what seems to be an unnatural position or with a bit of strain having to reach to hit mid-keyboard keys. Then again my hands aren't exactly large. The phone did freeze up on me when playing around with the nav and after giving it some time I pulled the battery out =S. Automatic brightness was annoying until I turned it off; dimming at the wrong times and brightening up when I needed it least. Though even when I keep the screen on dim settings to avoid battery drain, the "wow" factor doesn't seem to go away because of how sharp everything looks. Other than that I am very, very satisfied with the phone. Speedy browsing , very responsive keyboard, and what blew me away is playing HD videos on youtube with no load time. Apps open and close without a stutter and look great on the very sharp display. Video camera lived up to the hype put out by reviewers. It did seem to take a while to focus while taking pictures but I rarely need to take multiple shots (unlike many people) so it doesn't affect me to much.

You know, every other story that involves someone receiving a life sentence/the death penalty (woman who killed her pimp at 13, or anything involving drug addicts, to give examples), you all say that these people have something psychologically wrong with them, and therefore they need help, rather than a prison sentence. This case, although it is more a severe of a crime, you all say the kid should be killed.Digg, you are a bunch of inconsistent retards. I love you all, but think this through a little more. This kid clearly has a psychological problem, he could have been sexually abused himself as someone mentioned above, or he could have some sort of mental deficiency.
