I think the browser works great. Combined with the high resolution, it works fine. My only issue is pinch/zoom would be nice in the browser.?

I'll give you that there is not only a ton of waste in defense spending, and too much per capita.However, there is also a ton of waste in educational spending as well. The administrator/teacher/pupil ratio is extremely unbalanced.So could we at least eliminate the waste in education first, reallocate those dollars to actual, oh, I don't know, education, perhaps. If it's still underfunded, then by all means, fund it appropriately.I just don't know that throwing more cash to education straight up is the answer.

I recently purchased a computer for a nephew and had the choice between 2 similarly priced machines with either a Athlon x2 7750 or an Intel e5200. Each chip does certain things better than the other but the overall performance numbers were pretty even and will suffice for just about any non-profession purpose. The AMD machine was $30 (a lot when you consider it was a ~$300 computer) and had more 1GB more memory. I'm very much a value oriented tech shopper and AMD still wins on the front if you know what to look for.
