So basically, what Miyamoto is saying here is that the next Zelda game will give us everything we were hoping for from the last Zelda game. 'Bout ***** time. I mean, I loved Twilight Princess, and to the extent that they were utilized, I feel the Wii controls really added to the experience, but it just wasn't as immersive as we had been hoping for, and it was largely due to the unresponsive waggle-sword. Using the sensor bar for aiming was great, obviously, and I have no complaints about that - it's the next best thing to a mouse, in my opinion, in terms of precision, and miles above using the damn c-stick. But if anyone's played the swordfighting game from Wii Sports Resort, that's what we were friggin' expecting. Well, whatever - I'm not really too bitter about the Wii (the main complaint I hear is not enough good new games released, and I don't buy games often enough for it to affect me - I still have a decent-sized backlog), it's just I keep seeing these situations where they're just now doing something they should've been doing two years ago when it was released..
I could've told you that.!

xbox360 and the ps3 are both "technologically superior" to Wii. Why does the wii sells more than both together?Nintendo did a genius thing here. while the competition was busy trying to get the most technologically advanced graphics chip and cpu, they simply pointed their cannon at the user interface and completely changed it. And to top it off they grouped it with wii sports, which was the perfect way to demo their new control scheme. The whole package was the game changer.Even if you're not impressed by the end result, you have to at least admire that Nintendo had the balls to completely rely on the controllers (as the wii is very similar to GC in all the rest of the specs) to go against MS and Sony and their "next generation" consoles. |
