People really need to start learning how to use a crockpot. It's amazing. Most recipes go as follow:1. drop vegetables and meat in crockpot with a little water in the morning. set to low.2. come back from work in the afternoon and put on keep warm.3.eat and put the excess in fridge or in the freezer depending on if your eating the leftovers for diner tomorrow or a next week.4. I was in the US Army during the 70s stationed in Frankfurt, West Germany. When we first arrived in country, we were briefed about our mission, which was to potentially stop Russian armored forces heading west across the Fulda Gap, until reinforcement arrived. We were basically there to slow down the Russians, not stop them completely, since we would have been outnumbered 10-1. At that time, it seemed incomprehensible to me that the wall would ever come down. Glad it finally did. I also think it must have been very difficult for the East German people to leave the security of their communist way of life where everything is pretty much provided for them, and then to suddenly have to fend for yourself. Glad it's now history and most have assimilated well.
