@drmangrumSorry to blow a hole in your nice theory, but...http://abcnews.go.com/PollingUnit/Politics/electio ..."Just under half the voters in Virginia, 48 percent, approved of the way Obama is handling his job, rising to 57 percent in New Jersey. Most in both states, in any case, said the president was not a factor in their vote. "

As an Android owner and fan I don't mind the iPhone being considered the gold start for mobile phones.I think with everything combined it does do it better than any other phone out there.I think where Android has the advantage though is while it isn't as good as the iPhone in every department there are a lot more choices available. In other words if you buy a Motorola Droid it won't be as simple to use as an iPhone but on the other hand it will reward you with more complex features.Don't want a complex multimedia phone like Droid? Then Android gives you choices like the MyTouch 3G which are not very multimedia centric phones but are much more simple to use.I do agree the iPhone covers all bases better than any Android phone I've used and I can understand why it would be considered the gold standard for most people interested in that market but comparing any individual Android phone to the iPhone is illogical.Google designed Android as an operating system because they wanted to give you a choice as to what hardware you wanted to run it on. It isn't really designed for all in one systems it is designed to cover as many bases as possible.
