“I don't mind when slideshows are flash-based, but when the whole page re-loads for every 'Next', I simply can't be arsed.

I for one will not puchase this game but i will pirate it and give it to any one i hear is thinking of buying it, or i may just burn tons of copies and leave them on store shelves.
When I was a child I was convinced that Fantasia was a horror movie.!

Except the phone carriers are regulated tightly, required to resell service to other businesses at wholesale, and offer competition to the cable companies. If the cable companies were regulated the same way, and brought to a level playing ground, I'd say this makes sense. They right now get an unfair advantage in the data/telecom world since they aren't regulated the same as a LEC...

@mikes1No. I'm saying that the circumstances then and the circumstances now are immeasurably different. We have no metric as to how we would've survived during the Carboniferous period, so making climate comparisons based on atmospheric CO2 from then to now is moot. We should strive to minimise our impact on systems (not only climatic) that are showing signs of stress due to anthropogenic activities."Then you shouldn't have any problem with CO2 emissions."My problem begins with where the CO2 comes from - there is no future in burning fossils. Otherwise, all other things remaining equal, I have no issues with CO2 emissions.@norman619Thanks for the videos but I already know how it works! CO2 drives temperatures AND temperatures drive levels of CO2 - it works both ways depending on related factors. I'll believe the videos claims that CO2 doesn't cause warming, climate science is fatally flawed etc when the producer or the scientists publish a peer reviewed paper in a scientific journal demonstrating how this is the case.

Mint has pretty poor customer service. The Wamu online banking switched over to Chase.com about a week ago and the change was handled so inelegantly by Mint that the only solution is to set up a new account for chase.com, manually flag a month's worth of duplicate entries so your budgets don't get messed up (so far for me even after taking all that time to flag duplicate entries hasn't even worked), and flag your wamu account as closed (make sure not to press the large "delete" option or your entire statement/budget history will be deleted forever). I imagine they have thousands of users who have been effected by this. The forum is full of people complaining and receiving stock answers about the same problems (lack of manual entries for example) over and over. |
