In all actuality, the trading floors of Wall Street are a far better medium for transmitting germs than the average health-care facility. It makes sense to ensure that people who are at risk and have to work in confined areas with many other people get vaccinated fairly early. That being said, I really don't think that anybody who is healthy should get a vaccine yet; the elderly and sick are having a hard enough time of it as things are with the somewhat limited vaccine supply.
I'd be thunderstruck if this happened to me.

OK. Disingenuous: people who say they have all sorts of compassion for their fellow humans, yet insist on upholding a system in which a large percentage of even the hard-working among them are forced to suffer and die from treatable illnesses. Disingenuous.?
There is a pretty good documentary called The Drug Years I saw on IFC which covered the late 60s counterculture. Much of it obviously was in the Haight Ashbury district. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about that point in history.

Except that it's killing young people rather then old people. It's as deadly to the elderly, but they have a much smaller chance of getting it. The problem is that it's hitting young adults (people under 24) a LOT more than the regular flu.So no, it's not only dangerous to old folks and infants. And that's why it's different and scary.

I don't advocate killing them, but they don't seem to have a problem with sending our troops into wars to die for this country while financially screwing their families here at home at the same time. They will give our jobs away to countries that don't adhere to our democratic prinicipals, and at the same time allow our service people to be killed to protect our democratic prinicpals. This is not right. No wonder people are having homicidal thoughts.
