The police were called on things totally unrelated to the smell or the fact that this guy is apparently a mass-murderer. The point is - people in close proximity to this guy had NO IDEA what he'd done.

New jobless claims drop to 512,000 and thats a sign the economy is improving? Personally I see it more of a sign that just about everyone who can be let go has been.Let me know when the jobless totals start to drop, rather than there being a reduction in the speed of the rise. No, she's a hero because she actually fought back and stoppped the guy, he killed 13 people, 13 trained military personnel at that. Most people, including cops, would be hiding in the situation trying to get out of the way, not get in a shoot out with the guy risking their life trying to stop him. Maybe they're supposed to, but that doesn't mean they would, and it still took a lot of bravery.
