We are all very protective of our 80s childhood innocence damnit!
Not sure if anyone else has had experiences like this with the anti-vax crowd, but I've got a couple relatives who truly believe that vaccinations caused autism in 2 of their 3 children. (The third is still a bit too young to tell, but was not vaccinated, and is starting to show signs of autism anyway.) They'll scream that it was the vaccines that did that to their children because that's the only explanation they want to believe. It's hard to just say it, but it needs to be said: it wasn't the vaccines; it was your ***** genetics. *I'm absolutely not promoting eugenics*, but when two people are extremely likely to give birth to children that will never be able to function without lots and lots of assistance their entire lives, and keep having kids, it's extremely selfish on their part. But hey, blame the scientists and the doctors...

Reminds me of the time that my friends and I took a short road trip to Atlantic City (from Baltimore). We took the back roads, went up 40 instead of up I-95. When we got to Jersey I was sitting thinking to myself "wtf is Twp?" So finally I ask out out loud to all of my friends in the car, "WTF is T-W-P? Twip?" Everyone in the car laughed so hard and my friends nearly never let me live it down.Yes, road trips are awesome.?
Zynga also just updated to block Mafia Wars Autoplayer but also to close holes in common coding mistakes like forgetting to sanitize <, >, etc...instead of fixing it the correct way, they now started a policy where you cannot have those characters in your name. This wouldn't be so bad except they want you to PAY REAL MONEY to change your name!!

So true. What will the next bubble be? I've been in sliver since it was 10 bucks and have been quite happy with it. Even with the ups and downs. When it goes down I look at it as on sale. Until I see dot com like mania or house flipping like mania in silver and gold I'll hold on to it. As soon as I hear people in the grocery store talking about how they are making money in mining stocks I am out.

U2 hasn`t been worth listening to for 10+ years, but I actually watched this just to see if the tech was any good. It was good, and I hope that some non-sellout bands (do they exist anymore) take advantage of it soon. YouTube could become an amazing live concert venue.
