"If you are a liberal and support government shoveling cash at everyone for education cause its "a right" then don't bitch when the prices go up for everyone."I guess that I'm that rare liberal who thinks one needs to get value for our money, and would much rather see such money spent better. However, as this is about spending at PRIVATE college, trying to 'pin' this on 'the liberal agenda' is just another boogie man argument that is so prevalent in our political discussion these days, even when the subject has little to do with politics directly. One could make the subject about reigning in rampant greed, or about the right of private institutions to control their finances. However reigning in rampant greed is usually opposed by Republicans, just look at health care, as they are fighting tooth and nail for the status quo.

It has nothing to do with a calender, it is written in the STARS, the calender is only used for reference at the time the Mayans discovered this unique alignment therefore used their calender to predict the date. The unique occurrence will still happen regardless of what calender we use. The only way to survive is to stick your head in the SAND. To prove this untrue we could set off all our Nuclear devices and End it now.?
Victorian baby? The bigger news here should be that scientists have finally perfected TIME TRAVEL!
Too bad Verizon RAPES you for marginally better coverage. I was thinking about getting a Droid until I learned that an unlimited voice/text plan with 5GB of data transfer was going to be $150/mo... and when they enable tethering it will cost another $30/mo... and you have to pay extra for Exchange support... and you're stuck with a 2-year contract an a $350 early termination fee (which they will bill to you if you go over the 5GB limit more than twice for breach of contract). To hell with that.
