Free music is the way its supposed to be. My band just finished recording our deut album, and were giving it away for free. ***** the RIAA. they dont represent musicians, just corporate fatcats. real musicians make their money by paying concerts and selling merch like t-shirts and stickers. Poor analogy. We're not talking about advertising equating product ownership with bliss. We're talking about touting one product as superior to another based on a specific list of features or lack thereof while leaving out far more important details.Is it all "just marketing"? Perhaps. But even there, Apple marketing "seduces" while others merely "deceive". It ultimately comes down to laziness and incompetence.History has shown Apple products to be vastly superior to competing products with seemingly equal or superior "spec sheets." Apple's success stems in large part from their focus on the user experience before during and after the product purchase - something their would-be competitors still fail to grasp.!

Its a number play. The number of unemployed is a lot higher. They are not counting people who are self-employed and out of work, because these people (like me) do not qualify for unemployment.Perhaps when the rate continues to rise people will realize that Obama and the Democrats are clueless. The "Stimulus" isn't working at all. It made NO SENSE at all for Obama to raise taxes on people who create jobs. Look at the insane taxes people who have companies that are S Corp types. Which is the bulk of small to medium businesses. Revenue they could be putting back into the business now goes to taxes.?

They were either huge with a lot of HD space or small with very little space. Apple built a smallish player with a huge amount of space for the time and improved the speed of transferring songs by using Firewire instead of USB 1.0. It may seem minor and obvious now but at the time it was awesome. Plus it was a bold move no one thought the IPod would succeed like it did, MP3 players weren't even that popular back then.
