Video game stores just aren't what they used to be. I used to go to EB games all the time at my local mall. It was usually pretty easy to find a good selection of older games, and trade in values were actually reasonable. Now that Gamestop runs the show its all gone down hill. The game selection is terrible, all I can find is either games that just came out, or a whole slew of horrible games, or stacks of the last generation of sports titles. Trade in values are horrible, its to the point now that its just more worthwhile to let a game sit on my shelf for the off chance that I may want to play it in the future than to take their meager store credit for it. I think thats why its so hard to find decent titles that came out a year or two ago, no one is bothering to trade them in. The only way to find an older decent game now is to hope it makes a re-release as a greatest hits game. The stores are always so small and cramped too, its hard to just browse.Online is the way to go now. I can order a game from newegg or amazon and get it shipped for free and have it arrive either on the day of release or shortly after. The best part is if your buying a game that is already out you can read a bunch of reviews to figure out if its worth your 60 bucks or not. Going to a video game store was only worth it when I could find an older gem at a good price, or actually get a good trade in on my used games. Now that they took that away there is no point in going.

24k gold plated, eh? Pure gold is very soft, and this is sure to scratch and wear off very easily. Secondly, gold plating is low-rent. These buds have gimmicks as sales points, and doubtlessly perform poorly in comparison to the price point. Audiophiles don't buy this *****; they either get Shure buds, or cans from Sennheiser or AKG. You won't find gimmicks with these brands; only quality sound with easily replaced, durable components. Only the naive would buy this trash. Why is this on the front page?

The NCAA, or whatever applicable athletic governing organization with oversight here, should seriously be looking into this. At a minimum, a mutli-game suspension is in order. There were numerous red card offenses shown on the video.

Blood shouldn't be a factor here. Culture isn't based on genetics. Culture stems from upbringing, and I wish more people would remember that. You want your kid to carry on cultural traditions? Well teach him those traditions, and he will carry them on regardless of his genetic makeup. Hell, I gotta admit here, I feel a tinge of remorse on this front. Both my father and my grandfather are official members of the Seminole tribe, though you'd never guess it to look at them. And recently, it's become something of a major issue. My dad and my granddad never got along, but the fact that my dad is getting up there in years combined with my grandfather's recent stroke has really driven my dad's focus on his heritage, and all of this has really made me realize that I know virtually nothing of my own heritage. I just... you know, I never even really understood my own heritage and culture, because I wasn't brought up with that. But as I get older, I myself begin to see the position of both my father and my grandfather. I know virtually nothing of Seminole culture, and no one would guess I was part Seminole simply by looking at me, but more and more, I realize that I want to preserve the culture and traditions of my ancestors, and I don't like the idea of all of this ending with me simply because I fully embrace my "white" identity and completely forget that both my father and grandfather were Seminole.
